Agmax Country

Maximise your milk quality

If milk is your livelihood, then a milk grade is your worst nightmare. As a proudly 100% NZ-owned and operated company, Agmax prides itself on being the go-to place to get yourself out of milk grade pickles, and better yet, help you prevent them.

We know the white stuff better than anyone.

Agmax started serving the dairy community over 37 years ago with just one product. Now we have everything a dairy farm needs to keep their herd healthy, happy and producing great quality milk.

Meet the Team

Hello. I'm Paul

Paul Whitley

Managing Director

Ask Paul how long he’s been with Agmax, and he’ll humbly reply with ‘too long’. What he really means is, ‘not long enough’ - because no one knows milk quality like this man. This clever bugger has experience in the pharmaceutical, management and business building sectors longer than he cares to remember, but milk quality is his true passion (second only to his family*). So much so that even when he’s out on his 10-acre block, surfski paddling or pumping iron, he’s still solving your milk grade problems.

*(actually, maybe tied for first)

Hello. I'm Amber

Amber Whitley

Business & Marketing Manager

Amber has been a part of the Agmax business since she was old enough to fold statements and seal envelopes. She grew up rurally; bottle feeding pet lambs, goats and cows, mucking out stables and bailing hay. Now she’s in charge of introducing Agmax to a broader audience to help dairy farmers improve their milk quality. Despite her years spent in the US with a football scholarship and as a deckhand on a superyacht, she’s still kept up the art of envelope sealing.

Hello. I'm Bernard

Bernard Kimble

Technical Manager

The things Bernie takes care of at Agmax are far too technical for most of us to understand. With his Degrees in Analytical Chemistry, and Post Grad food/chemical engineering and food manufacturing sanitation courses, he’s got the microdetails of milk quality down to a fine art. His interest in all things rural started back in South Africa but these days he makes the most of the Kiwi outdoors and unsurprisingly loves firing up the braai.

Hello. I'm Brent

Brent Henley

Production and Supply Chain Manager

Brent is a self-professed Everything Manager, carefully streamlining the entire Agmax production process. He believes in rolling up his sleeves and getting stuck in to get the job done, and has experience in the development of new pharmaceutical, electrical and farming products. Over the years he’s herded sheep and cattle, and enjoys the challenges of rural life, and getting his gumboots covered in mud and manure. Now, that is getting your hands (and feet) dirty.

Hello. I'm Paula

Paula Stubbs

Finance and Operations Manager

While Paula has been the Agmax accounting and operations expert longer than she’d like you to know, she also knows the importance of a good pair of gumboots. She is ceaselessly dedicated to self-betterment, honing her skills and actively expanding her knowledge through independent study, industry research and hands-on experience. She’s currently pursuing an accounting degree to add to her long list of qualifications.

Hello. I'm Tim

Tim McLaren

Territory Manager

Tim has lived and worked on farms most of his life. What he didn’t learn there, he studied at Massey Uni, graduating with honours in Microbiology, then gained a Diploma in Business and completed a Sustainable Nutrient Management Course. He’s a real outdoorsman, keen on hunting, fishing, kayaking as well as endurance and adventure racing. So he’s got the stamina to help you get ahead.
