You’ve ruled out the basics but still have a coliform grade.

Your coliform grade is caused by either manure contamination, low water temperature (<85C) or poor cooling & refrigeration. Check these again but odds are, you’ve missed a soft soil patch somewhere – time for a full strip down.
Soft milk film can be hiding in every and any surface, nook and cranny. Look for shine and get scrubbing.

• Thoroughly and we mean, thoroughly, strip down and scrub every inch – receiver airline, milk line joints, donut seal, outlet bend, test bucket, liners, plate cooler. Click here for detailed instructions.

• Once you’ve found the contaminated areas. Deep clean and sanitise areas with an Agmax alkali detergent and Agmax Vat Cleaner. Click here and here for detailed instructions.

• Get your torch and inspect, it should be clean and dull. If you see shiney patches repeat the above step.
